Some boss fights in Crimson Desert are all about timing, dodging, and learning attack patterns. The Gate to the Other World boss fight is different. This is one of those encounters that can feel confusing at first, not because it is especially hard, but because it does not follow the normal rules most players expect from a boss battle.

If you go into this fight trying to use your usual attacks, it will probably feel like something is off right away. That is because your normal attacks do not really matter here. You cannot solve this fight with your sword, and arrows are not the answer either. The real key is understanding the mechanics that the game wants you to use.

How to Easily Beat Tenebrum in Crimson Desert

What makes this fight stand out is that it takes place almost entirely in the air. Instead of fighting from the ground, you need to move into the center of the arena, open your wings, and meet the boss midair. Once you understand that, the whole encounter becomes much easier to read.

The objective is simple. You need to hit the boss with Force Palm three total times. That is the entire fight. There is no long damage phase, no complicated combo requirement, and no reason to overthink it. The challenge comes from the boss moving around enough to make your timing a little awkward.

Why This Fight Feels Strange

A lot of players get thrown off here because Crimson Desert trains you to rely on your normal weapons and attacks in most encounters. This fight suddenly shifts away from that. Instead of asking you to stay grounded and play aggressively, it wants you to pay attention to positioning and use one very specific attack.

How to Beat the Gate to the Other World Boss

The easiest way to handle this fight is to keep the process simple.

Start by moving into the middle of the arena. This gives you the space you need to jump up and take to the air. Once you are in position, jump and open your wings so you can float in the air with the boss. Staying airborne is important here because this is where the fight actually happens.

When you are up there, your goal is to line up Force Palm and hit the boss. Since the enemy moves from side to side and sometimes circles around the arena, you do not want to rush the attack. Wait for a clean angle, then use Force Palm when you are properly lined up.

After you land a hit, you will need to do the same until you connect three times. That is all it takes to finish the fight.

Force Palm Is the Only Thing That Matters

The most important thing to remember in this fight is that normal attacks are not the solution. If you keep trying to attack the boss with your standard weapons, you are only going to waste time and make the fight feel more frustrating than it really is.

Force Palm is the mechanic that wins the battle. Once you focus entirely on getting airborne and landing that attack, the whole fight becomes much more straightforward. It is less about damage output and more about using the correct tool.
